there is a dance coming up and i dunno if i should wear something like a dress or pants...
any tips?

Wear a dress but if you are going to be dancing make sure you can dance well in it and don't have to worry about stopping and pulling this or that up or down. Don't mess up the night by having to worry with your dress. Test it 1st.
Hair up is pretty. But have some on the sides down and put something pretty in the back of your hair after you get it up.

First check what kin of dance is it. You should wear pants if is not that formal or a light loose dress. For summer or hot weather, you will be hot if you dance allot. Is is a formal dance, get the best dress ever. A little sexy, spaghetti strap and a dressy collar like a scarf. Good luck.

Whatever you feel is appropriate or you feel comfortable in. A nice dress is good. That all depends what season the dance is too. If it summer time you want to wear something that keeps you cool, if it the winter then you want to wear something that is warm but still sexy.

Is it a formal?
If so I'd wear a dress. You don't get to wear nice dresses all the time.

where a dress, a dress without a back, long, tight so it makes your figure stand out and a slit at one of your legs which goes half way up your thigh. beige or light blue are good colors

yep. any type of clothes will work you just have to look better than the other girls. or go with a real nice dress thats the best way to go if you want to impress

wear a nice sexy... but classy dress with some nice diamond earrings and high heel shoes. :)...thats what I'd wear.
