Hair growth in infants is a very individual thing. At 4 months of age, your baby most likely still has some of her newborn hair, which eventually will fall out. Some babies hair grows as it falls out, and is not noticable as it does so, and therefore continues to grow, and has a full head of hair at about 6 months. Other babies will lose all of their newborn hair by the time they reach 5 or 6 months old, and it is replaced by new growth..... soft, downy peachfuzz that grows into long locks by the time the baby is 10 to 12 months. It all depends on genetics and individual hair growth patterns.

It depends on genetics, health, how close to term the baby was when born, and just whenever its little body decides to grow hair.

Ive known babies with blonde hair that didnt grow hair until they were over a year old. I've also known premies who didnt grow any hair until they were well over two.

it just depends.

My baby boy did not have hair at 4 mos, he started getting some about 8 mos. I mean he had a little fuzz, but that was it. Sorry!

My daughter is 15 months and still has no hair. Well, she has the little bit that she was born with, but not much. Poor baldies. I hope her hair grows soon.
