I live on a military base oversees and they won't ship here...paypal, which is how people that sell on eBay do their postage. Does anyone else have success that lives oversees with eBay shipping to them?

The sellers say they will ship anywhere but paypal won't let them, nor the post offices.

Paypal is just an online payment system, it's up to the individual sellers to decide whether they will ship to APO or military addresses. Many sellers accept money orders and cashiers check,, but you have to wait for the mail to deliver them. Others accept payments via Bidpay/Western Union, but that's riskier when dealing with people you don't already know.

Since there are lots of people out there trying to rip people off via online sites, sp,e sellers won't ship to PO Boxes or any address that hasn't been confirmed by Paypal. When in doubt, ask the seller before you bid.

I don't understand that. Paypal just ensures that the seller gets his/her money quickly. The shipping, to you, is done by the seller. When you win a bid on eBay you also agree to pay a certain amount for shipping. Paypal will electronically deduct this money from your bank account and deposit it in the seller's account. A military base, overseas, should NOT enter into you receiving packages. Paypal does not ship. It is the seller that ships and pays the shipping fees AFTER you give the fee to the seller. Pops

Ebay sellers can choose whether or not they will ship internationally. As far as I have found, there is no way to search only for sellers who ship internationally, so you will just have to look very hard for something. Good luck!

Yes, but only a limited few will ship anywhere in the world.
