If you go to some parts of the South or anywhere for that matter, some whites can't even speak in complete sentences and act like they need to be caged somewhere. The same holds true for hispanics, asians, etc. There are "ghetto" acting people in all races, even though there are some that hate to admit it. What do you think?

My thought is this if we as a society want to see change and our race as Americans viewed in a better light attack the people who capitalize on the problem and create a poor image. Hollywood!

There are some ghetto acting whites I will give you that: some call them the W word (sort of like the N word but starts with a W instead). There are also applacian whites (ie in WV) I tend to refer to as hillbillies.
Street hispanics are more from the barrio so I call them barrio boys or another term I can't use on here.
I've never really met any ghetto asians before so wouldn't know what to call them.
I think some may have the impression that blacks are the only ones who act 'ghetto' is because it is mostly those that are glorified on MTV and in the mainstream media. The mainstream media doesn't cover Appalacian culture, for instance.

I'm white and I don't think only black people are the only ones. I couldn't agree more with you that there is garbage in every race. White people are called trailer trash. That's a tough one to swallow. I say shame on them for making you feel that way. It angers me that they are so quick to judge. Be proud of what you were born to be like I am. All of our blood is red. (unless you're a marshon)

There are many people who do not speak correctly. I guess because I'm white I hear all the bad things about white people like hill billy and red neck. Don't let ignorance get to you. It is hard to change the world.

cage the southerners! everyone is so prejudice against us. the black race is suppressing us. we cant get jobs or equal treatment because of the black people. i think i will get on food stamps and lay on my azz all day making up new words to sound cool. Those people that think that are from those sheltered communitites that think bad things about everyone outside the world. They stereotype everything and believe them b/c they don't know any better. Their lost man. Don't worry about it.
