Does anyone know of a good website with free (legal) mp3 downloads? I'm not the administrator on my computer so programs like Kazaa or Ares are of no good since I won't be able to install them. Pls help me as I'm going abroad the day after tomorrow and deperately need to take some music along with me. Tks loads!

eMusic is legal and actually supplies MP3's. It costs about $10 a month and allows up to 40 downloads each month. It's not a "rental" service so you get to keep them even if you cancel your membership.
You won't find anything that's legal for free - don't steal music.

You can not get free mp3's, unless they are non-copyrighted songs by unknown artists.

doesn't have all songs, but by far the best i've seen.
