Progressive. I agree with the poster who said that it's not progressive versus conservative but progressive versus retrogressor.

Countries can never go back to the so-called glory days because much of the time, peoples and policies have changed too much to allow that.

However, there is undoubtedly a giant pendulum which swings from progressive (forward thinking) to retrogressor (backward thinking or wishing for "the good ole days"). It seems to have been moving (in the U.S. at least) backwards for at least six or seven years for now. But I think people are getting tired of the conservatives who talk a good talk about "family values" and other policies but who are corrupt.

Tough choice. But truthfully, I am a Progressive Conservative. Being of Canadian heritage 6 generations if not more, the now extinct Progressive Conservative Party was the party of choice for me. They have since been replaced by West centred reform movement called the Conservatives - an American sycophant government. Completely obtuse!

I am the Fringe and I transcend the boundaries status quo politics.

I'm very progressive, advocating progress, change, improvement, or reform, as opposed to wishing to maintain things as they are.

By the way, the opposite of progressive is not conservative, it's retrogressive which basically means to move backwards instead of forwards. No thanks.
