I think abortion is murder. It's wrong. Abortion shouldn't be allowed.

I don't think it should be used as a form of birth control at all. I can understand having one for an unplanned pregnancy, but any more than that, it's terrible, these people should keep their legs closed or get on birth control. Maybe doctors should perscribe birth control to the woman that come in and get an abortion. There are reasons to have one, i also believe it's a persons choice, I will never have one unless soemthing terrible has happened. But, I also think soceity overlooks the males role in deciding whether or not to have an abortion. There are men out there who would take care of the child if the mother didn't want it. It's tough, and lots of different aspects to it.

Abortion is a moral issue, and you can't put a law on morality. Let's say I'm married, but could die if I get pregnant. Everyone knows that birth control isn't 100% effective - so does that preclude me the right to have sex with my husband? What about the 11 year old girl that gets pregnant from an uncle? Or the 40 year old who gets raped? Can you really tell me that you're willing to put her through that hell of being reminded of the rape every time she looks in the mirror for the next nine months? Or is it the woman's fault in those situations too. There is no black and white in this issue - you can't make ALL abortions against the law, and you can't make only SOME of them ok. If the right would let us teach more people how to use birth control, and more people had access to it and health care the issue would be less of a problem.
I don't believe in using abortion as a form of birth control either, but I also don't think that women should be forced to have children they are unable and/or unwilling to support. Would it be better to let the child be born into poverty and abuse? Great life that would be. In all reality do you think that most women are going to put an unwanted child up for adoption? You're not trusting these women to make a choice but you're trusting them to raise a child? Yeah, that makes sense.
How are you going to enforce only allowing women who have been raped to have abortions? Like no one's going to lie about it if they're desperate? Are you going to put them through a lie detector test? Make them go before a judge? There is NO way to enforce this - think about it.

I feel personally abortion is really wrong... murder. However, like all other rules there are exceptions.
What if a 12 year old is molested by someone... should she have to go 9 months of pregnancy?
What about a women who is raped?... should she be reminded of her attacker everyday for 9 months.
I will say however, that many women view abortion as a form of birth control. I think that if you are 2 adults having CONSENTING sex, than abortion is completely wrong. If you didn't want a baby, you should have use precautions!!!

I am not for abortions normally, but there are cases where it is needed. If the mother's life is in danger and she has other kids to think of she should have that choice. If someone is raped they should not have to go through with the pregnancy if they don't want to, although I do know someone that chose to keep her baby after being gang-raped. It is really not for other people to judge.

abortion is MURDER!
i think every teen should be made to watch a film about the cnsequences of sex. and a film showing an actual abortion.
that way maybe there wouldnt be so many teen births, or teens getting pregnant and having abortions

i think that's the most awful thing a woman can do.bringin a baby in the world is the most incredible thing that can happen.i see no reason why a woman should abort ababy she cud have the baby and give up for adoption if she doesn't want it .

I don't believe abortions should be used as a form of birth control but the right should be reserved in the case of danger to the mother's health, rape and/or incest.
I personally will never have one but I do vote to protect a woman's rights.

Better to have an abortion than bring a child into this already overcrowded world who might face a life of violence and neglect. In saying that I have never personally been faced with the situation so I don't know how I would feel. I believe it is a woman's choice however. Your leading question suggests you are opposed however.
