My friend shouldn't have told me this...
She said her period usually lasts up to 7 days...
But this week she said it only lasted for 3...

She's asking me what's happening!
I think it's because she suddenly became a vegetarian...

your friend has nothing to worry about. women's period can last from 3 to 7 days....and it's all normal. a few things can affect length of her period like chronic stress, whether she just got on or off birth control pills, whether she's recently had surgery in that area.

veggies have nothing to do with it, i got really sick and had a short and light period and it took 9 months to fix it, ofcourse i was stuck with a little gremlin after that, though it turned into a really great girl after a few years work.

its true any kind of sudden change in diet can cause changes in your period, and in your growth of hair nails, etc.... she needs some form of protein to replace what she's not getting from meat; like nuts beans a vitamin supplement protein drinks something with a meat substitute. goodluck

She should count her blessings. Maybe they'll be short for the rest of her reproductive life.
