yes it is possible, and happened to me for more than a few years. It was different, yet he cared so deeply and respected me for my feelings. There has not yet been an end even though he is not gay, our love for each other still exists and in some sort of strange way, has kept me grounded to reality. So, I say yes, for there is so much more to being gay then sexual endevors.

If the straight guy has a similar spirit as your own.. he will naturally be sensitive to your feelings.. if he is bound by his principles or has been taught to restrict his feelings toward other guys.. than that is your only restriction too.. first you need to let him know that you truly like him in a deeply spiritual way.. a way that transends the physical.. You might say to him.. "if only you could see me the way I see you".. good luck!!

In high school I was totally obsessed with my friend Jeff. We stayed friends up to college when he found out that I was gay. He accepted me as gay even though he had previously been homophobic. Later, he felt for some reason that he should tell me that even though he wasn't gay, that if he was, I'd be the first to know. Now, he lists his sexuality as "undecided." I think that he's probably gay, but his homophobia was preventing him from acting on his feelings. Once he met someone that he liked on a personal level who was gay, he realized that there was nothing wrong with being gay. I haven't been interested in him sexually in years, and I have no intention of having any sort of sexual relationship with him as I'm in a happy relationship. Success? I guess that's up to the interpretation. I was miserable when I was obsessed with him. By the time I realized that he might be able to get involved in a gay relationship, I was totally over him, but the possibility does exist. So, I guess there's some sort of success there.

If a (lets use me) man is with a "straight man" wouldn't that not make him straight? Or is it my pain meds making me goofy tonight? LOL
