I am thinking about signing up for Mary Kay and I keep reading about these Anti-Mary Kay websites, what is this all about?

I really enjoy selling Mary Kay but I strongly recommend doing a lot of research on the pros & cons before decided to start your own MK business. That's what I did and I think it really helped me a lot. My favorite resource is The Pinking Shears. (http://www.thepinkingshears.org/). It lead me to a wonderful Yahoo!Group called Pink Bee Gone that has just been invaluable to me and my business.

I used to sell Mary Kay, found it to be an excellent product, but their marketing techniques are very 80's. I resigned because I just couldn't find people to have home parties in this day and age and didn't want to keep pestering people. Parties are your main income with it and they are just a thing of the past. Period.
Mary Kay went through it's hyper-growth or momentum phase many years ago and all the large incomes have already been earned. It was new and exciting back then but people have found their interests now tend to be health and anti-aging.
I work with a company that has only one product, and cutting edge technology for marketing. This is a product that is catching on very quickly therefore businesses are building very quickly.
We offer optional daily teleconference calls for training as well as webcasts. You are given 4 free websites upon sign-up and as much training and mentoring as you like.
I started this in April, with an investment of just under $200 USD, and by the end of November, will be at the Ambassador level where income starts at $64k/yr.
This company has removed all the usual obstacles associated with Network Marketing.

Mary Kay is horrendous! It's like a cult if you join, and if you are not a customer, they stalk you.
