That's a funny question because the iRiver was out before the Ipod. It's unfortunate, because there are lots of good MP3 players out there that in my opinion are better than the Ipod, but silly people that think Apple invented the MP3 player and went and coined terms like "podcast" are an insult to those of us that know better.

Well.....I believe APPLE's marketing is just ALOT better than IRIVER and being that soooo many people already have an IPOD and it's talked about a lot...people like myself are more proned to buying an IPOD (thats if i ever get one...)

actually iriver is said to have really good sound quality. lets just say they dont have attractive products. and there ui is hard to use. in my opinoin creative makes better mp 3players than apple for one they make the player with the most gorgoeus screen and have better soundquality and ar emore reliable. also apples products suck major ***.
