How do I get my husband to stop watching so many sports? I could run naked in front of him when he's watching and he would push me out of the way. What do I do?

Find yourself a compelling interest or some like-minded friends to spend time with. Nagging or making dramatic plays for attention will not affect his love of sports but will make an impact on his affection for you, and not in the right direction. A really good thing would be something athletic that the two of you can do together to counteract the effects of all that time that he spends sprawled before the tube.

He is love starved. Not sex starved... He needs you to boost his ego by telling him how much he means to you....How you appreciate it when he does stuff around the house.... or when he takes you out... or when he pays attention to the kids. You need to sneak these comments in when he is not glued to the TV. Make it a nice compliment.... one here......one there.... one today.....two tomorrow... praise and appreciation go a long way. Then when the TV comes on... sit down with him and watch with him....show some interest in the things he enjoys... When you get him alone....tell him what the things are that you enjoy, and how happy it makes you when he participates. Marriage is giving and sharing, not taking and demanding...

LoL I think I married his brother! I would tell him that well he is watching sports you are going out shopping or with friends! I would get real busy and tell him to limit his time with t.v. and you will be around more!

I do love sports as well.but am not obsessed about it.I really know the place of my wife and family and give them the pride of place.I believe discussing the issue dispassionately especially after a sumptuous dinner would be helpful.Try and tell him how this act of his makes you feel,I am sure with prayer , tactful approach and love..he will bend over back..Take it easy...God bless

They love their sports. I've found one solution though. When I want mine to take a break I lay my head in his lap (if you know what I mean). It works :) There's only one thing men love more than football. Try it and let me know.

Why not sit down with him sometime and watch with him? You may find you learn some game rules. If that doesn't work, talk about compromise...
