Yes and no.
It is a cartoon, so not THAT scarey.
BUT the house does grab people and pull them into it.
AND the house at the end walks down the street, chasing the 3 kids who are stars in the movie.
Depends upon your kids. I have seen parents take their young children to Texas Chainsaw Massacure. Sorry, don't know how to spell the last word... Each kid is different. My son, when was 4, screamed in The Lion King when the father was killed. He to this day, will not watch that movie. And he is now age 15.

My son is 6 and he loved it. I don't find that he ever gets scared from cartoons, no matter how scary they might seem. Although, this movie is a little slower than most. He might not sit through the boring parts.

umm... if they dont get scared easily, i would say its a good movie for them because its fun and cute. but if they are they type that get scared easily, i would say no because there are some scary parts in it.

hmm parts might be frightening for a 4 year old but it was cute...i would say yea..unless they scare easily..
