Hey when I was in high school I was bullied by a black girl as well and I am a guy. Its never ok for a white person to use the N word.

I wouldn't be surprised if the girl you are referring to has called someone else something far worse. You did what you had to do to get her to f-off. You have a right not to be bullied. Since it worked, it looks like it was the right thing to do at that time. She's lucky you didn't strike her for bullying you. Just as there is a right time and a wrong time to fight, there is a right time and a wrong time to use harsh language to defend yourself. Don't feel bad. I get the impression that what you did was out of desperation, rather than some kind of hatred for a race. Bullying is wrong. I do not see your act as racist aggression, but rather an angry reaction to being harrassed. I am not advocating racism or use of racial slurs. I am advocating standing up for yourself.

That's good you stood up for yourself.
my lil brother was in the same situation but he called the boy a f*&^% SLAVE! he didn't mean it but he was so angry and tired of being bullied by him thats just what came out of his mouth. In a way it could be wrong I guess . but some don't understand that you as a human can only take so much. And apparently you where tired of it just like my brother was. He latered apologized to the boy. I don't know if thats something you want to do.. take care and be careful .

It was a good thing that you stood up to her, but to bring her racial status is wrong, usually bullies are very insecure people in need of attention, some times by talking to her and offering her your friendship not in all cases but sometimes it does work. it is worsted to try everything you can in a peaceful way

No you really weren't wrong. The only reason blacks act so offended when they here it and often act violent is that they have been conditioned by the media that if they hear that word they can act like a rampaging animal.
They play the race card all the time and it makes sense, if you were in their situation and in trouble wouldn't you?
I still use the word in my circle of friends to refer to the blacks that have adopted the street culture and really aren't planning on assimilating into mainstream society. I don't feel guilty about it at all as there are behavioral differences between the races. Nor do I believe the term is applicable to all blacks, just many inner city ones.

To a good point yes. But remember this, aperson is not a N... until thier heart is black and they don't care about anybody or anything but themself. The best thing that I can say is that after while you may want to tell her why you said that and see if it helps both of you become better poeple. Good luck to you.

The word was used in fear, and that is wrong. You should have stood up to her. Some people are rude and mean, because they do not even care about themselves. You can be better than her by educating yourself and getting a good job.

I was bullied by a black girl too. I would never dream of using that word on someone for making me mad. That word applies to any color person that happens to have bad taste, miserly ways and that is about all it really means. That is not what it was suppose to mean, but that is what it actually means.

Well according to our society, you would be wrong. Perhaps that wasn't the best name to call her because it is considered a very racist word. Was it her race that you hated? Or was it her personality. You would've be ok to call her a bitchh. Anyway, I'm glad to hear you stood up for yourself and she left you alone. Maybe choose your words more carefully next time.
