Ok, one of my guy friends, we'll call him Bob, loves me. ALOT. He is truly in love with me. When i talk to him online and on the phone, i start getting attracted to him and part of me would like to be with him. But when we see eachother in school, I could never see myself with him. What really hits me is why. I have an obsession with smell and he always smells of BO, and hes kinda ugly, not butt ugly just not even cute. and his laugh bugs me. And hes really lazy, and always talks about how he hates this and that. Always being negative. I hate it, because i'm always positive and bubbly and active. I just don't get it. Am i being shallow, or is this normal?

what about him on the phone attracts you to him that doesn't make him attractrive when you see him face to face?? you've got to figure this out because if you see that he has different qualities in public then he does when you're alone on the phone, then maybe he's the one who's being a little weird. if there's so much about him that you don't like then he's porbably not the one for you. if he undertsnads that you don't love him back the there's nothing to talk about with him. just leave things alone.

IT's not wrong and ur not being shallow..it's okay if a guy likes u n u dont really feel the same all the time... it happens to me a lot... Its a guy at my school he's cool i dont know him much though but he likes me n well i dont really like him...but its kinda like ur situation exept t my guy(i'll call him Bob #2) is nice ative usually bubbley like me.. but he dont talk to much around me all the time around every1 else but not me.. but anyway back to ur situation..(lol sorry)its not mean or shallow its just how u feel... if u think u like him enuf to go out then go for it but if u dont n u may have other plans for some other guy then i donno its ur choice....But yeah its okay to go out with someone if someone else likes u...BO.... thats gross lol... there u go.. i didnt help much i just blabed bout my problem..lol

Shallow because you're distracted by his major aspects. If you weren't distracted by them, you would be normal or else you wouldn't even be describing him. So? I say if you dislike him when you see him, then don't go for it. Actual relationships don't occur over the internet or through communications.. but in person.

No, I dont think your being too shallow, but it sorta is. Im sorry, but I mean, if he is negative, and your not, That is just like wrong if it bugs you. I think you should just stay friends.

I know how you feel, you have to like the person in person as well of phone/Internet conversations.
I too have someone that likes me more then I like her, but you heart is the one that says who you love.
