well i think i would but more coach Luis vitton is just soo annoying b/c it shoes that u r really really rich and that u just want to show off dooney and burke is also cute but coach is more original i really ahte when ppl r like i got this from my grandparents with a wallet and 700 bucks inside the wallet which was inside the bag luis vitton is unoriginal it is always the same coach a purse for every outifit if u want
i no someone that says if u don't have anything designer there is something wrong with u same if your dogs doesn't have anything designer

I have no idea why anyone would want to carry one of those hideoiusly obnoxious purses!
They're old lady purses. Whats really dumb is that I had to go to the welfare office one day to get medical coverage, and two thirds of the women there were carrying LV bags,, that tells me either welfare pays some really good money, or the bags are really fake!
I associate the bags with poor people trying to look like they've got money when they dont!

I make purses out of old purses and dog chains and ribbons and stuff. I totally love original looking bags.
I dont like the LV bags or all the knock off's. My mom got me a fake Gucci and Im almost a little embarassed carrying it around-I do NOT look like a rich person, who could afford to throw $400 down for a bag to carry my credit card in.

Its Luis Vuitron and that means STATUS and in Style--His purses are Hot right now and every girl wants whats HAPPENING in the fashion world.
That does,nt mean we don,t want and have other purses either . We need several purses like shoes.

I agree with many posters, it's because this is a status symbol... The same reason any brand of any product is considered special for its moment in the spotlight.
Personally, my favorite purses are the ones I crochet or knit myself!

I don't want Louis Vuitton purses. I think they are boring. Me, I'm a Coach girl, but not for the designer name! I love their bags because they are unique and unlike anything you can find anywhere else, and they are beautiful and totally my taste. That's exactly why I don't like Louis Vuitton. Their bags aren't unique or eye-catching, the fabric they use has no interesting texture, and a lot of their bags are just boring. Most likely, people who love Louis Vuitton love it because it is very very expensive and ultra-high fashion. Don't go for the fads, go for what you like! Like Coach...

It's a status thing. And yes I would prefer unique to what everyone else has. So I'm likely to buy a handbag at Goodwill for $2.99.

Since all the other girls are feeding you lines, I will give it to you straight. Girls want things to impress other girls. They want to show it off and make others jealous. They are very expensive and a status symbol. Thats it. If you have a lady that wants it, I suggest getting it for her- but tell her its an early xmas or bday present. If not, she will buy it herself. IF you do it you are the hero!!!

people are scared to fins something unique because then maybe it wont fit in with fashion. designers names are always in style. also since they are so expensive, its simply the fact that most people (like me) can't afford them which just makes them want them more.
