COuld be the fluid is getting dirty, and clogging the filter, or could be the bands, or clutches inside are wearing down more quickly. Alos make sure you have trans fluid in there. Good luck.

Nobody can diagnose that transmission problem with such limited information. A 700R4 transmission should not shift quick anyway, maybe you mean it does not have a firm solid shift at the correct shift points.

why wast your money buying a shift kit when you rebuild the trans again tell them to leave the little balls out of it tell them you what it to shift harder it will the little balls make it shift smooth you probably are ready to have it rebuilt again the 700r4 was bad about going bad anyways . hope this helps you out

Is there fluid in it? 700r4 tranny's are not weak i have a suburban with 189,000 and it hasn't had a fluid change and it still goes goes good and shift's good they are not Junk at all.

It's a 700r4. No seriously, they are weak tranny's. Could be anything though, need more info.
