HELP! What do I do about my friend? Anything I can do?

My friend came into first period on Friday saying that this wkend, her b/f was going to give her oral. We all told her that was nasty, and she said she wouldn't do it. Today she called me saying that they did go ahead and do it, and afterward he told her she smelled like acid down there. I told her she should talk to her mother about going to get checked out by her doc. She got mad at me and hung up. What should I do? I was just trying to help. :(

You are correct. Some odor is perfectly normal, but anything that smells spoiled or fishy is usually a sign of an infection. This doesn't always mean an STD. Many infections are caused by changes in hormones and pH levels. If she asks to go to the doctor she can be treated with oral medication.

first your friend sounds as if she has a problem, telling eveyone something as personal as that. If she did allow her boyfriend to have oral sex with her that was something she was suppose to keep personal, but since she decided to get your advice and then get angry tell her she needs to handle the problem herself and that if she wants a real friend she will have to accept the answer you gave her, what she does with the advice is her choice but hanging up on you won't make the problem go away and there may really be something wrong with her and going to the doctor may help her in the long run. Let her know if she wants to be lied to get someone else to be her friend. Her boyfriend on the other hand deserves what he got (ugh) going down on her with her period, what did he expect to taste or smell flowers, a period is when a women body is cleansing itself, He got a mouth full of dirt.

I would get a new friend! Sounds like she needs a lot of attention, how stupid to even make the friday annoucement!
