I believe that there should be no difference in gay rights or straight rights, it should just be called RIGHTS, because we're all damn people!!

I'm gay, but I do not advocate the "Gay Rights", I do however, advocate for same-sex marriage, the right to express love between same-sex people and so on, but I don't think such "Gay Rights" exist in the pure meaning of the phrase, or there are "Straight Rights"? Only personal opinion here

We just want the same rights everyone else has, you know, like the right to marry the person we love, the right to not have to worry about losing our job over it, along with the benefits that come along with a marriage. We're not asking for special rights just equal rights.

Rights?! I want the right to love my partner without being frowned upon. I want to raise my girls in a tolerant society. I want to be protected in case some homophobe wants to hurt me and the people I love. When I was in the armed forces, I couldn't reveal my sexual orientation or I would've been kicked out. We want the same rights that straight folks take advantage of.

They do not have any "special" rights that no other group has. They are however entitled to the same rights and protection as every other citizen of this country. That is what they are fighting for.

None they actually have less.... gays can still be fired in certain states from jobs just because they are gay. Gays also can not tell anybody in the military they are gay... no freedom of speech.

Please do not act stupid.
When we talk of gay rights, we speak of restoring to gay people, the rights that all citizens have or should have. We are not looking for any "special" rights, just the rights you enjoy.

It has nothing to do with the rights they have, it is the rights that are DENIED that "we" are fighting for.
