ever been on a blind date? what happened? any blind dates that have worked out?

I've only been on one blind date before. A friend of mine wanted me to go out with her really shy cousin. So I called the girl and her reticence made conversation painfully slow and one-sided. Still, I took her out to the movies because she said she was really lonely and I had nothing better to do. When I saw her, she was decent looking and pretty much the same as she described herself. Her reticence carried over and she seemed to be very uncomfortable with physical closeness, as she sat leaning away from me in the movie theater and would always walk a step or two behind me. Long story short, the date went nowhere. But she was hooked for some reason. She kept calling me and calling me without anything to say and then write me letters (my friend gave her my address for some reason) about how much she liked me. Fortunately, I moved shortly thereafter and just didn't give her my new number or address.

I have been on quite a few blind Internet dates. Usually we meet
at the mall. More times than not we go back to my apartment which is near the mall, and have sex. Blind dates
have always worked out well for me. I have never had a traditional blind date, however.

Yes, about seven years ago I had gotten divorced and was ready to get back in the swing of things when a friend set me up with a Co-worker. We and a group of friends had dinner at her place. We hit it off like crazy and we got married almost five years ago. We are still crazy in love. There is nothing I wouldn't do for My Soul.
