What type of pets are...
... cuddly?
... won't try to bite you without you harassing them?
... hypoallergenic?
... small?
... good with children?
... easy to take care of?
If there are any breeds of a type of pet in particular that fits the guidelines, that'd be great, thanks.

The pet is for myself. Unfortunately, my neice and nephew live in the house, and they're toddlers.

For teaching my neice and nephew to treat the pet kindly, that'd be hard.
They're 2 and 3 years old, and they are both autistic.

Dog for sure, kids love dogs, a Goldenlab would be perfect, but their quite big, why not start off easy first, like a fish and work up?

I would try a large rabbit. You should be able to find one in a local rescue. I know in my area there is a rabbit rescue and they always have around 80 of them. Your niece and nephew may be able to relate to a rabbit. Rabbits cant communicate like most other animals and do so with body language. Rabbits should be kept as an indoor pet and can easily be trained to go in a litter box. If the rabbit has a poo accident on the carpet, it is easy enough to bust out the vaccuum. I wouldnt get a small rabbit though, small children have a tendency to roughhouse and could hurt a small rabbit. Most do not bite. The only issue left would be the allergies. The only way to find out if you suffer from an allergic reaction to a rabbit would be to spend time with them.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND A FERRET... not only are they just as much work as a dog, if not more. Your house must be ferret proofed, they can squeeze through a 1 in round hole and get into everything! They are not suitable for small children. If squeezed a little too tightly they would be inclined to nip. They can also be easily killed if stepped or sat on. They definitely do not meet 3 of the six criteria and two are maybe's. The only for sure is that they are small.

For 'Hypoallergenic' I'd say one of the non-shedding dogs. I'm getting a Maltese for that very reason. They're also small, cuddly, and won't bite. They do require a lot of grooming, though.
If cuddly isn't overly important, go with an aquarium. Fish are pretty hypoallergenic, too.

Poodles are hypoallergenic, cuddly, and can be small. As for the biting, that is something you teach an animal to not do. Good with children, that is something that goes both ways, if a child is good to the dog, the dog will be good to the child. Easy to care for, well, they need to be fed, watered, walked, loved on, and groomed. I guess it depends on what you think of as being easy to care for.

Any type of animal has the potential to bite. I have a fish that bites and actually draws blood when I clean his tank. And all animals require care to some picking up dog poop isn't easy. So just depends on how much you're willing to do. I'd say a hairless dog/cat, or maybe a smaller labradoodle type dog.

Good luck on finding your perfect pet! I know how you feel, for I am allergic to many things, and must know what pets are hypoallergenic.
*fish (Do not get large carnivous fish/ ones with sharp teeth. They will bite)
*bunny (needs a bit more care, but easier to care for than a dog)
*well trained dogs(must shed in clumps or tested hypoallergenic)
*Guena Pig (very easy to care for AND hypoallergenic)
*Any reptile, amphibian, or insect
*Birds (some may bite)
*Hamster (same as guena pigs, but not so exciting)
*Ferret (hypoallergenic, unsure of the other requirements)
*Chincilla (same as ferret)
Hope this helps you. Best of Luck. :)

Scottish Terriers. Parents had one when I was 3, he died at 13. Great with kids, playfull, hypoalergenic. Males are not too good around other dogs (even when nutered). No to hard to care of (have to get tehm shaved, they don't shead). Depending on the one you get they may be cuddely or may be abit independant.
Sphinx cats are hypoalergenic as well, however some find them ugly. They are cuddely, small can be good with kids. Self maintaind except for food.

The nearest I can think of is all but the last one. A bichon frise is all of thise things but easy to care for. They need grooming just like a poodle. But they are smart, sturdy, love kids, very cuddly and relatively hypo allergenic. If you keep him clipped short you might get away with professional grooming 4 times a year but you have to keep him brushed.

No pet is perfect, like you seem to want, and no pet is "easy" to take care of. A pet is like a child, and if you're not willing to put the time and effort in to the relationship--and that includes training your toddlers to respect the pet--don't get one.

Malteses are good. The only problem is that some breeders won't sell them to houses with small children because some misbehaved kids will pull are snap the legs and break them. As long as the kids in your house won't do that; they are as nice as can be!

Umm how massive is the glass tank? Its okay to maintain them in a tumbler tank, yet they do want a cord cave because it grants a greater physically powerful air pass. The cord cage is likewise greater suitable because of the fact rats choose for to discover so a multi point cage is stable. only go searching for some inexpensive cord cages or attempt advertising the tank for cord cage money. I quite have 3 well-known fancy rats and had one dumbo rat yet he exceeded directly to the great beyond. the form of rat you get is a private selection particularly plenty. this is greater suitable to get from a breeder and as youthful as they permit you're taking them. in the journey that your mutually with your rat from that factor on you need to have not any situation with biting. puppy shops plenty only care relating to the money and not the rats wellbeing. Breeders quite care relating to the rat and could do stick to united statesat the rat. I did get my rats from petsmart and that they are completely healthful. i haven't any breeders on the fringe of me. you need to frequently get 2, yet once you assert your continuously gonna be with it i do no longer see why you won't be able to get one. looking after 2 is quite no diferent than looking after 1 as they are going to the two love you. P.s. male rats choose for to cuddle greater and ladies folk are very hyper
