Um, yes there is an Xbox Sims 2. Here it is on the Official Site:

See left bottom for places where it's currently for sale.
However, there will NOT be a Pets version of it. That was discussed on a Gamespot (one of the sites) in an interview a month ago.
None of the consoles have the genetics and baby maker engine for the Sims 2 games. It's a very different game than the PC version.
