I would think that this is really unusual and would want to know why. So I would ask why he does not trust me in which situations and find out what his specific concerns are. I mean does he think you would take stuff from the company or not work when he is not around.
Also it would be interesting to ask whether he trusts the other people in the company or whether there are others he also distrusts.
It could be that he is a personality who does not trust anybody so it his problem.
It could be that he has an impression about you which might have been created in a misunderstanding. Then it is even more important to clear that.
IF a professional and reasonable talk does not help then it's time to look for another job just because trouble is preprogrammed.

If it was less directed to you, e.g., general security procedures or "can't trust" you do to some procedural reason not having to do with just you then don't worry.
