One day I plan on becoming a professsional model. I know you may think yeah yeah, whatever, but its one goal i plan on acomplishing.
Im not exactly what you would call skinny, but im not fat. I have stretch marks on my sides & stomach where i grew so fast. Is there any way of removing those? will it hinder my modeling career?

omg i want to be a model too. my friends say i could be a model because i'm skinny but i'm 13 and i'm flat chested so i don't think i will be modeling the kind of clothes i like to wear. if i try modeling i will be modeling clothes that my sister wears. i think i could be a model when i'm 16 or 17 though once i've grown up more.

i don't think stretch marks matter that much. and if you think you should lose weight if you want to be a model thats ok too. but there are different kinds of models. i wish they would show normal people in the magazines. even the plus size models aren't very plus sized at all. they could fit into the regular womens clothes. it's not fair that so many women and girls are turned down because they aren't picture perfect. they should put normal people in the magazines and on TV.

good luck girl!

Yes, if you have stretch marks, it will be harder. However, lots of models have imperfections that you never see. Don't let stretchmarks prevent you from accomplishing your dreams.

You say "one day" you will become a professional model. If you are interested in becoming a professional model, you should start now. Start knocking on the doors of any modeling agency you can find.

There are some lotions and creams available at your local drug store and Wal-Mart which will help remove the scars over time. Just be sure to not fall into one of those modeling agency scams. Never pay money upfront.

there is a laser type sugery that will lighten stretch marks along with some creams. as for hindering your career....that is according to what type of modeling you plan to do or find to do.

It probably would if you don't talk to them about it and see what can be done, if anything. I know they make some products for stretch marks, but it I don't know the if and or buts.
