I contend that if you are a fair minded person, you would not. With that in mind, how can you justify its appearence on US currency today?

For the people who just aren't that smart and question me for answering my own question, I say wise up. I have given you my opinion and asked that you justify your opinion if different from mine. Maybe if you read slower and outloud, your comprehension will improve.

The Question you supplied is a very interesting thought provoking one. And those who have answered you are correct. If you ask the majority of people out here in the US we do believe in GOD. Now IF we have Faith in Him. That is a many sided thought provoking question. And would I print, "In God We Trust"? Yes because as our founding fathers wanted the Future generations to live long and prosper, so I would want the nation to give credit to who they Really owe allegiance to. Not to men currently over them. Not to the laws that are set in place to Protect them. But to something great-or. A creator that Loves and cares about them. That is the Ideal that All those in office should have! They are our shepherds. They should feed the flock using the principles laid down in the Bible not using their Own Personal Agendas. Just a thought Big Brother

As I do not feel that represents the sentiments of the majority of Americans (regardless of which religious group they claim to most identify with) then I would not print such a statement on any currency.

However, I would probably ask the people to come up with the design of their currency

If I were to found a New Country I would expect that people would move there because we have "In God We Trust" on the Money and the ones who disagreed would live in Europe Where they don't believe in anything.

Someone actually said God had nothing to do with the making of America. And you gave the answer you wanted to hear, not what you wanted to hear from a group of others with their own opinions. Now I have heard it all.

I would not mention God. God had nothing to do with the makings of America.

If you mean, population-wise make-up... then probably.

If you mean with our laws and our Constitution, then absolutely not.
