I do not let the bad in my life control me. I take control of my life and the way I treat others is the way I want to be treated.
I have taught my girls a simple rule to live by

sometimes ppl say that life experiences make you who you are...I think its more than that...I think we are all born with a sense of "who we are" and "why we are"...but it gets all messed up with going to school....ppl you think are important kinda make you who you aren't....and then you find out years later that those ppl never even mattered...blah...I am a one of a kind...do what I want...to hell with ya if you don't like me kinda person...so what makes me, me?...well my soul I suppose....everyones is unique....it's the source of your "you-ness".
