Yes, I know that 80 percent of the troops in iraq support bush, but why don't the other 500 million republican voters of America go fight the war?

I seriously can't believe conservatives mock Kerry's record, when most voters haven't even gone!!

Are you a veteran or do you have plans to enlist?

Where do you get your statistics? Especially the part about 500,000,000 Republicans. The population of the US certainly has grown a lot suddenly.

After 9-11 I very seriously considered re-joining the military -- and this time as a marine instead of the Navy. But I am not a fighter, I am only 160 pounds. I am also 39 and not a good shot. I don't think I would be an asset. I would in fact need protecting. I would be more a liability than anything. I think we need big strong young men for the fighting.

If I was one of those powerhouses, I would be back in uniform right now.

Given that only 5% of americans have passports its hardly suprising is it. Most americans only know that there are other countries in the world cos they saw it on TV.
Your question also answers a question of mine, I couldnt understand how bush got in in the first place, but if theres 500million republicans in a country with a population of just 280 million everything becomes clear. Why are americans so dumb?

The fact that you seem to be unaware that the population of the United Sates is only 295 million calls into question your ability to even understand your own idiotic question.

Because we are not professional volunteer soldiers.
It wouldn't help much to put a bunch of CPAs on the streets there would it?
