I know this is a waste of important points but how can I upload my personal picture rather than my avatar. I've seen a few users with their picture but don't seem to be able to do mine.

The easiest, is to upload to your 360 account on the blog, then go into the options here, and use the 360 default one, the pic you set to default on the Blog Page. Good Luck

I wish I could tell you what to do, but I've been having the same problem for over two months. I have a 360 account with photos, but Y!A doesn't recognize it for some reason, and won't let me upload a photo. It did for about five minutes, then it turned into a grey smilie, and then back to the avatar. I know I'm doing everything right. But so frustrating! Someone suggested that my 360 account is somehow existing in another dimension from my Y!A account. That is beginning to sound almost logical.
People are going to post answers about editing your 360 photo to show your primary photo, saving, then going to Edit my Info on Y!A and selecting your 360 photo. Good luck with that if you've already tried it. It doesn't work for me, only says I don't have a 360 account. Which I DO. I had to put it in the 'about me' section to link it to Y!A, because Y!A won't link it, even with 'Link to 360 Acct' checked.
I've asked for help from Yahoo, but they don't hear my pitiful cries.
Let me know if you find out what's wrong!

You will need to get a yahoo 360 account.
You cannot add a physical picure,other than an avitar, in answers, but you Can elect to use your 360 picture.
You have 3 choices, no picture, use avatar, and use my 360 picture.
On 360, you can upload a picture from your pc, and use it as your picture. Then go into answers, and select "use my 360 picture"
Its the only way to get a real picture on answers. Its how other people do it. you'll need to sign up for a 360. You dont have to use it, after loading your picture.

Sign in then click on ID
then public view of my profile
then click on MY PAGE at the top
then click on Edit Personal Photo
then find the picture you want click on SET as PRIMARY
then click on save

yes ithink if you go to your 360 yahoo page add photo you can browes ,so browse you photos
im sue you`lll get it .
if of course you have photo of you in your computer!!!

go to my q&a
then go to edit my info
then select ur yahoo 360 pic as ur pic
