I think the police were right to use "repressive tolerance" rather than make martyrs out of those they could have arrested. The issue about the cartoons is censorship and the question is whether religious groups have the right they claim for themselves to not be offended and the right to limit and interfere with the freedom of artistic expression of others.
If we argue for freedom of expression, we should tolerate the expressions of hatred. But draw the line if there is incitement to racial violence against Danish people or acts of violence against Danish people and targets,
Asking for or demanding death as a punishment for actions leading to being offended is not a serious political demand, No-one (no government) is going to agree to it or give in to it. Ordering or inciting others to carry out such punishments is another matter,

Nobody went on at Muslims until? Hatred breeds hatred, who is continuing the hatred. What would happen if we applied the same laws as Muslim countries to those living in Europe and USA? In Saudi you are whipped and then put to death for being a gay lover!!! Whilst visiting Muslim countries we have to be very careful, observe strict dress and respect rules, make no demands or loud noises, like protests. When in Rome......Whatever happened to that rule. I live in Indo-China, I am married to an Asian girl, I am truly integrated.

Yeah Treason!
They should be HUNG, DRAWN and QUARTERED, their heads chopped off and put on a spike on traitors gate!
For you non Brits....This is the penalty for Treason, Hung by the neck until they pass out, revived, Drawn, their guts cut out and shown to them, Quartered, both arms and legs tied to horses and pulled until they rip off.
