There is a guy in my P.E. class that I have a big crush on. He tells me jokes to make me laugh and sometimes compliment my hair and stuff. so he flirts with me, i guess. after class, he asked me for a hug. it seems like he likes me a lot. my friends tell me "i think he likes you". he even gave me a nickname, Peaches. yeah i dont know how he thought of Peaches..but its kinda cute. :-) ANYWAYS, sometimes he flirts wit me but sometimes he doesnt talk to me. and he told me that he liked this one girl and hes gonna ask her out. i dont get him...does he like me or not?? im confused...

Yes i think he probably wants to date you if he compliments you, gives you a nickname, etc. He probably just wanted to make you jealous when he said he was ganna ask out another chick. He wants you to do that so you will like him even more.

He likes you but for some reason he is hesitant to ask you out. I had this experience years ago in High School, but without the nickname. How cute, Peaches!! I am not for girls asking boys out but it would be nice if he got together with you and not another girl. He sounds like a keeper, whoever gets him, so let's hope it is you.

I would back off, and if he likes you he will ask you out! I would tell him that you don't want to interfere if he wants to ask someone else out! That way he will know that you didn't just want him as a friend. Good luck!

sounds like he's confused as well. Some people flirt with everyone because they have zero limits. I think he gave you his answer of whether he likes you or not by telling you he likes another. sorry.

You don't nickname someone "peaches" that you don't want to date, just go up to him and ask him out.
