i listen to ROCK music all the time!!!
it just adapts to whatever i mite be feeling - so i dont need to be in a specific mood to enjoy it
i do however have to be like disgustingly happy, like bunnies and rainbows and jumprope happy to be able to tolerate mainstream stuff - like the stuff on MTV or on the radio - i just call it pop as in popular - i mean its such rot, i have to be delerious for it to even register as music to me
I like Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys - they actually have talent and thier songs are real, and from the heart, like Tupac
but the jerks that just sing about a.s.s i just want to kill them!!

When I'm depressed I listen to Gaelic/Celtic music and the song Adagio for Strings. The type of music I listen to when I'm happy varies from soft rock to swing, light classical, and of course the Beatles!

I have mix cd's with a lil bit of everything on them to fit whatever mood I'm in ranging from things like rage against the machine to celine dion - fits anything I'm feeling
