Pets can contract the same diseases as humans from SHS. Lung and heart diseases.

Yes pets are affected by second hand smoke. It can cause upper respitory problems, lung problems, etc.

yeh they are affected too. My friends mum smokes and their dogs died from lung cancer. at least her mum stopped smoking. But idon't eve talk to my friend any more. I can't bare to look at the family who are responsibly for a creatures death.

when my mom passed i got her cat she was very addicted to second hand smoke whenever someone would smoke around her she would be all over them and if no one smoked for awhile she would get very grumpy

Definatly. My dog hads breathing probl;embs and we stayed with my stepmom and we had to leave because everytime my dog was in the house she started haveing like asma attacks.
