Hmm. He's a rooster. He's programmed by nature to crow. Why do you talk?

Well, actually, if you have hens around, he'll crow to impress them. It's his way of speaking... I think it's his way of saying look at me.

There is no problem. It is a falicy that roosters only crow at dawn. My rooster crows all the time too

That is normal.
My Barred Rock starts about 4am and goes all day until he is cooped up at about 8pm. Sometimes he will crow in the coop.
