I have Pergo laminate flooring. Was told there is substance to put on floor to help with noise.?

Initially told it was something like a wax. The laminate pieces separate at seams and are squeaky. Is there any help out there??

spray lightly wit WD-40 where the squeek is

No such thing.
There are accoustical cushions to put UNDER it before it's installed.
Sounds like a bad installation.
Ask the installer for your money back

Have you thought about an area rug? Maybe that would help.
