i believe the continent has vast areas of stable desert and scrub land where there isn't a lot of disturbance or deposition. Perhaps they are just easier to find.

Because them Aussies got nothing better to do but to go in the Outback and hunt for rocks, that is when the crocodile hunting season is over. In California everybody is at the beach, not too many meteorites are found in the sand, specially after the cleaning trucks sweep all the garbage and rocks.

Because all the meteorites are assorted, and since they are all assorted (meaning not sorted), the assortment is large.
Any time you have assorted meteorites, in time the assortment will become large; but other countries have their fair share, but you just haven't heard as much because they tend to sort their meteorites and classify them according to certain protocols.

A great deal of the country is arid, and tends to have less vegetation, so it makes it easier to see/find. Also because it is not geologically very active, and has little in the way of rivers and so on.. there isn't much to destroy or bury the meteorites

It doesn't really.

Even if you went to meteorites.com you will see that they come from all over the place.

One of the reasons that website might have slightly more from Australia is they might have a "source" there from which they obtain the pieces more easily than elsewhere.
