she does love you and she's not trying to be mean. she's just a little stressed right now. if she's the only one taking care of the baby then she's probably exausted. so help her out a little. on sundays take care of the baby so she can take a nap. then maybe she won't be so tired. also, if the baby is only 4 weeks old then your wife hasn't completely healed yet and it's recommended by doctors that you wait 6 weeks after giving birth to have sex. so you may have to wait a little longer but go ahead and start helping her with the baby now. if she is snapping at you she could be tired or have minor post-partum depression. helping her with the baby or cooking dinner for her or cleaning the house for for or doing the laundry could help so that she doesn't feel she's having to do this alone. and don't say that your too busy or too tired because you work 6 days a week. being an at home mom is a 24 hour a day 7 days a week job with no breaks and no paycheck. so she's busy and tired too. maybe you could get a family member to watch the baby for a couple of hours and you can take her to see a movie. just be there for her and help her out. don't worry so much everything will be ok.

Welcome to fatherhood. You might get back in the saddle in a couple weeks. You were down 6 weeks before? Unless that was doctor's orders that might have been a bit severe. This kid is a month old . You will not be close to back to normal for a few more months big guy.Its time for you to spend some of your time taking the 24 hour care away. My wife did not have to bathe either of my sons until they were 6 months old. Learn how to change diapers quickly. Put that kid on your lap and watch sports. She will love you for that. If that is not appreciated then you have a different problem. Right now its hang loose and help as much as possible. You are experiencing your transition into real adulthood where you are no longer number 1 in your house. Deal with it. If you make it a fight with your own kid guess who loses. YOU DO. Put your insecurities aside. At some point you may have to remind her that she's still a wife not only a mother but its WAY too early for that.

She most likely is suffering Post Partem Depression, a depression that most women experience shortly after giving birth. It can be mild and not last very long, or can be extreme and last a while. The reason behind it is her hormones are "out of whack." She is stressed by this new and huge responsibility. She probably also feels that she has to give the baby her complete attention constantly, and she doesn't want to make any mistakes as a new mother. You just gotta ride this time out, help her as much as you can, and back off a little if she gets aggravated at you. Let her know that you love her and are still attracted to her. Let her see that you support her. In time, she will come around and you'll have your wife back.

Your wife has just given birth. She's going to be tired adjusting to the new baby and adjusting to her changing hormones. The baby is going to require her full attention. As for the sex, it takes a long time for the body to fully heal and when you've had someone (the baby) in your arms all day, the last thing you want is to be touched by someone else. Give her some time to heal. Try to spend time with both your wife and the baby when you get home from work. Give your wife a break sometimes when you can. And get used to the fact that things have changed.

You have to realize that you're not the most important thing to her anymore.
Once you have a baby, that is your priority and the baby comes first.
Give it some time, the baby is only 4 weeks! Right now she is doing the right thing by spending time with her new baby. As your child gets to be months old, I am sure your wife will go back to normal, right now is just a stressful time caring for an infant.
I'm sure she loves you otherwise she wouldn't of had your kid. All it is, is that she is occupied with caring for the baby.. like I said, the baby is so young right now and he needs to be nurtured by his mommy.

If your son is only 4 weeks old then you have about 2 more weeks of no sex. After a woman has a child, she is instructed by her doctor to refrain from sex for about 6 weeks. Sounds like you may have to make a date with Mrs. Palmer and her 5 daughters. Also, please take into affect that her body is going through a lot of hormonal changes. If you think it's necessary, why don't you have a talk with her OB/GYN and see if she's suffering from Post Natal Depression, Baby Blues.

She just had a baby and is probably dealing with about a thousand things herself now, you working all the time keeps you apart and one day a week is probably not enough to try to fit romance in. Try to spend more time than once a week with her is a good start, try to take some of the responsbilities of caring for the child off of her (it can be daunting to take care of a newborn and she could likely use the rest), and most of all just give her time to catch up with her hurried life since she's probably feeling way too stressed to think about sex right now.

Sounds like she needs help, at least two days a week there should be time to where you and your wife can have dinner, just the two of yous even just at home and her not fuss over the baby and be cleaning. Hire a young trusting teen, neighbor, family member or someone out of the paper. Let them be in charge for a couple of days and let mom, soak in bubble bath and relax and have time for herself and she will probably feel more romantic then being stressed all day and then think about being romantic. Give it a try.

You realize that a child changes everything. You get in there and do what you can to help.
As to the sex, my second child destroyed my sex life. I've been celibate for 16 years. Focus on other stuff
