The balanced equation is:
Ba(NO3)2(aq) + Na2CrO4(aq) --> BaCrO4(s) + 2NaNO3(aq)

The SPECTATOR IONS are those which do not react:

(NO3)-1 and Na+1
The Nitrate ion and the Sodium ion. These remain in the aqueous solution for the entire experiment.

The NET IONIC EQUATION is only the reactants:

Ba+2(aq) + (CrO4)-2(aq) ---> BaCrO4 (s)
