I believe we are born pure evil.
Don't correct a child and you will see my point.

Now here is what happens. We as a culture here in the USA have become so far removed from our natural state that it takes a minimum of 18 years of education both in school and at home to function at the lowest economic levels of our society. I believe strongly that people; say one thousand years ago, were light years ahead of us intellectually, because they were able to see without the veils of media entertainment over their eyes. And hear without the filters the educational system has installed in our ears. When people's eyes can see and ears can hear they start to revert back to the way they were created. In the image of GOD. IMHO

GOD bless ya.

1. I'm not totally convinced that all humans are born naturally gentle and compassionate.

2. I believe that genetic anomalies exist that make some people very dangerous. You can see it at a very early age (i.e. fire starters, cruelty to other children, or animals, etc.).

3. Other than that extreme, most humans tend to be like sheep — they go along with the crowd.

Humans are basically violent and territorial. The difference is that 100k years ago, we were spread out far enough due to low population numbers so that we didn't have the widespread problems we do today. Humans stopped following the laws of life about 12,000 years ago, and things have gone downhill since then.

There is no "natural path". Everyone has their own idea of where they want to go, or at least think they do. Some chose violence others peace. In a perfect world all would choose peace. But it's not a perfect world.
