During the last three years misdemeanor arrests have gone up by 73 percent, and murder has nosedived by almost 50 percent.

Complaints of police brutality have jumped by 62 percent.

can you say "prison-industrial-complex"? Profiting off of petty crime to sustain economic growth by fleecing society of more dollars, why not just tax us? It would be more simple, but then again, this is just one more way the elite charge the people and siphon money from the bottom to the top.

Where's the profit in that? How do they make a profit off arresting these people? That's an important missing piece of your argument.

Additionally, murder is down. Is robbery? Rape? Assault?
