Just take a long look at your family, your school experiences, and things you've seen in general. Let those real facts get you started on a fictional story. For instance, you see an uncle at a family reunion and you ask who he is. Someone will give you the facts, but can you add to it and make it a better story? What about the ballgame that you saw? What if your team lost instead of won? Just twist things around with "what if" or "what else could have been" to get you started. Good luck!

Finding an animal and adopting it as a pet, a fire, a story about winter time, a life in a cottage, or you can look up a historical event and write a story about that?? Well that's about how much I can think right now! Good luck with your story writing!!!

Write a story about things that inspire you, or jsut make you happy! In first grade I wrote a book about a mermaid turning 11, and her pet jelly fish. In 2nd grade, I wrote a book about Barbie and Polly!

Try something humorous, yet towards your age. There's a story called, "Loser" by Jerry Spinelli. Very good. It's about a kid that tries, but ends up failing. He wasn't a quitter. Whatever you write make sure that it has a moral to it, and others can relate to.

I find that the best thing to write about is what you want.

Not "I want this and t hat and this"

But more like if you had them. Super powers is a big one; maybe a pet, or a vacation.

It's all in your mind.

Good luck

Whatever you choose, doing something off the wall. In silly fiction there are no rules, you are only bound by your imagination.Forget about morals until you are older, or have something important to say.
