I play the guitar, and have for twenty five years. I own a cobalt blue Fender Statocaster, a 1962 reissue that I bought in 1987. I also own a Pink Paisley Fender Stratocaster that I got the year after that. I have a Kramer Striker that I bought the same year - I got it so that I had at least one humbucker pickuped guitar in the lineup.

I have two Ovations - a fullbacked twenty year old one that is my campfire guitar, and a thin-backed one I use live. The twenty years I've put on the older one has aged it like a fine wine. It has become a really nice sounding guitar.

I also own a Fender mandolin and a Fender p-Bass. You can tell I'm a Fender fan, huh? :-)

I have my heart set on a Highway 1 Telecaster, the one with the red finish. I play mostly blues, and love the single-pickup tone of the Fender guitars. The telecasters lack the "quack" sound of the Strat and have the "twang" instead, so I want to see what I can do with it. :-)

yes, 6 str recently stolen don't recall brand & 2-12 strgs, a Dixon and a Maderia, both are inexpensive but sound ok since I play for fun and not in a band/group. Been playin for -mumble cough- years, started when I was 15 or so.
To the person that wanted to learn, there are several very good "teach your self" programs out there, my nephew liked (and still uses) the one Costco has/had (got him the deluxe version, 28/29 bucks, heck why not) or go to musiccoach.com
I use the "chord miner" section of my nephews copy when I come across I chord I've forgotten or not seen before or need to see "other" fingerings to get a better flow or fit (both for playing and listening to the song) - best of strings to you all

I have played electric guitar and acoustic guitar for 4 years. My acoustic is a Washburn D30S (it's my baby) and I just recently purchased a Gibson SG. I did have a crappy Squire Strat, which was my first guitar, but I needed a (real) guitar. I love Fender Strats but I just think Gibson's look nicer overall and are better quality. I used to be a Fender man but like I said, Gibson is just much better. Good luck with your playing. Peace.

I play the guitar. I've been playing for 4 years and I have a purple Squier Fender and a Black First Act Overload.

I'm OK. I'm not horrible but I'm not awesome either.

I am not the greatest guitar player, I actually play drums mostly, but I have been playing guitar just as a hobby for 11 years. I play an Ibanez acoustic/electric and an ESP 7-string.

Yup, I play.
Penco Acoustic (13th B-day present)

Gibson 1968 Les Paul Junior (16th B-day present)Which I thought was an SG..it LOOKS like an SG, so I call it a "Les G")

Epiphone Les Paul Custom

Takamine Acoustic (Present from my sister).

Samick Flying V (A $300 guitar that felt and sounded better than the $1,600 Gibson Flying V right next to it!)

Washburn X-30

Steinberger Bass

Samick 5-string bass ($120.00 pawn shop special that sounds great.)

I've been playing for 25 years, and am about to embark on building one (a Randy Rhoads style )myself.
