Apples and Oranges my friend, apples and oranges. First of all, a four year old can't enter into a binding legal contract, marraige is a binding legal contract. Secondly, homosexuality is inborn/genetic, and while it is true that some pedophiles might be "born that way" most were raised that way or have a mental disease/defect.
Thirdly, gay marraige would be between two consenting ADULTS. Finally, being homosexual is natural. It is proven that in nature many animals (fyi humans are animals, just like primates and whales) engage in homosexual activities. You can't be "raised" to be gay. There's no recipe for it. Okay, being gay and a pedophile are two completely different things. People get married because they both agree to it. They are usually close to each others age, or are old enough to make a decision like that. A 4 year old isn't old enough, or doesn't have life experience to do that. Plus wanting to marry a child, or being a pedophile is different then being gay because gay people don't go around wanting to touch kids. People who are gay are just like people who are heterosexual, they just like the same sex. You can't compare that to being a pedophile.

2. the jury is out on what causes someone to be gay. Some feel born to it, some choose it.
3. it is not a disease or abnormality (there are many studies done on the homosexuality of everything from fruit flies to seagulls and other mammals that mate for life.)
4. your bigotry is showing. The right to marry would give equal rights to gays not special rights. (we are talking here about insurance rates, joint tax return benefits, etc.)
5. If you do not stand up for the rights of the gays for equal rights, you cannot expect us to stand up for any of your rights when they come for you.
