While I was playing MLB last night at football practice, I went in to a pile and got a cleat to my shin. It one of the most painful things i have ever experienced. When I got up and tried to walk I almost fell over and was limping pretty badly for the rest of practice. After I got home it was still severe pain and I iced it, but I couldn't move it, and it was warm to the touch. My leg was swelled up so it looked like I had a 2nd kneecap. It is still painful to the touch and swelled up today and I am still having trouble walking on it without limping.

Try elevation and Ice until you can get in to see the Dr./try rubbing it on and off also this may help to get the blood flow/circulation back

Time to do in and get it looked at.
Not being able to weight bear on a limb after an injury means that you do have structural damage, whether it needs treatment or not.... it needs to be checked out by a physician, x-rayed, etc... to make sure you have nothing fractured, etc...

Might be a concussion behind the bruise. Check doctor before it gets worse. These problems at first look harmless but get serious.
