4 months eh? sorry, i think she might already be dead

Fever is a sign of the body fighting infection or other serious problems. If you have been to the doctor already did they test for mono, Lyme's disease, rocky mountain, etc.
Try to be a detective yourself, what part of the country do you live in? What insects/animals bite could have contaminated your wife's blood stream? What environmental factors are around you? mold, mites, roaches, sprays, plants, foods, etc.
If she has not been to the Doctor, please take her as soon as possible, because this is not clearing up on its own. IF they cannot diagnose her right off the bat, have them to write her a prescription for some high speed antibiotics while they are testing to see what is going on. Good luck,

If you could give more info, is she running a temp all of the time? How high is her temp?

You need to drive her to the hospital. What is her temperature? Is the fever just a low grade fever (99.0 degrees) or is it something like 101? Fever is the body's natural defense mechanism to fight infection, and if she has had a fever for four months, chances are she has an infection. Has your wife been bitten by any ticks lately? Do you live in a wooded area? Ticks can carry lyme disease as well as rocky mountain fever, and I have heard that rocky mountain fever has very similar symptoms. Good luck, I pray that everything turns out well, but please don't just take my word for it, GO TO THE DOCTOR.

Take her to a doctor, right now!
Any fever persisting that long is a sign of a serious condition, and the other symptoms would be enough for a doctor on their own.
GO!
NOW!
Don't wait!

Has she been to a Dr? If not why not? If you want to have a wife get her there! If she has been and not getting better take her back and back till you get answers. Make them run tests! I was like that for years and repeatedly went to dr's. They almost let me die. I had late stage Lyme disease. GET HER to the hospital and make them listen! Demand if you have to that they do tests.

Thats sounds like symptoms of a stroke or signs she is going to have a stroke. She should really seek professional help immediately. The longer she waits, the more dangerous that could be.

You should probably take her to a physician!!! Four months is a long time to have a fever.

She might have a blood disease, because it can confuse the internal systems. You should have taken her to the doctor after about a month-a month and a half
