why is it so "popular"?
Not be a snob, but where i'm from, its considered a lower quality brand.
most people here wear Velvet, Splendid, London Sole, J Brand, Citizens of Humanity, and Marc Jacobs.
what are your favorite "splurge" stores/brands?

wow if its a lower quality brand where u r from wats expensive dam that stores expensive as hell i go there sometimes tho but i dont go with any kind of store or brand if its cute i buy it and thats that

omgosh i totally agree. i think its low quality too. i splurge a lot on jeans so i buy true religions 7 for all mankind, citizens, and rock and republic. i dont think ill ever understand why its so popular too. i like the brands youre into.. theyre awesome =)

A&F is low quality. The price does not match the workmenship. i like to shop at AE, Louis Vuitton, Coach, and at Ralph Lauren.

I really like Dillards, Saks, Guess, BeBe, but i still wear some abercrombie and fitch.

i hate when like really preppy kids from like the middle of nowhere think they are rich cause they like own a shirt from abercrombie and fitch and they actually just look like a walking billboard.
i like more hip, sophisticated stuff, like some of the brands you mentioned

their popular because they carry whatevers "in"......which i dont get because their clothes all look pretty generic to me
but i agreee with what someone else said earlier, for most people i know ambercrombie IS a splurge store

i have never heard of any of the stores you shop at but the "splurge" stores here are a&f hollister and american eagle

to me abercrombie is a rip off. hollister and aeropostale have cooler hoodies. and old navy has better jeans. :P
