Libertarians and Anarchists are closer to eachother than many think, I say, unity! Unity against the corporate capitalist state that serves only to advance the capital accumulation process.

alfkowitz - it is even more cute that you decided to make your own fantasy country that represents your singular beliefs - Free Country USA! That is funny, you worship the very power that takes your freedom away and would love nothing more than to put you in a sweatshop if they could, wake up.

auntb93 - you need an economics lesson, Capitalism in the Adam Smith liberal sense contradicts the Libertarian vison of less State, less taxation, and a society without monopolies of wealth controlling people. Capitalism must have a welfare base, wether it is for the elite rich or the masses of the poor, dear.

Adam - umm, dude, read dinodino's answer for the real thoughts of real Libertarians about Bush.

viablerenewables's - that is muddleheaded... I like the Fruedian slip of saying "white" it is so accurate (not that you meant it to be). Bill and Melinda Gates are major philanthropic contributers to the poor and needy, HIV patients etc. Probably because they didn't come from massive wealth at first but more so because they reap the benefits of a society designed to siphon wealth from the poor up to the small ammount (less than 1%) of rich elites. It is what the war is about, the economy and the destruction of any force that fights against them to get that money (unions, people's movements, democracy, civil rights, governement programs etc.).

I don't think they do - that's why they run candidates against Bush and other Republicans, y'know?

I don't understand why anyone sides with George Bush. I mean the man is not articulate. Often loses concentration. honestly a man or woman should not send soldiers out to die unless they themselves have gone to war. I know after the attacks on us we had no other choice but to defend ourselves. A war on terrorism will never end. One must also realize that good and bad depend on perspective. What may be good for one person may not be good for another. Though, as my dad says and I somewhat agree with him " as a conservatism I say bomb them all woman and children first, why they hell are we giving them money to rebuild and send our soldiers to die... they don't understand that they are murdering someones lover, father, mother, sister and brother." I am neither republican nor democrat or anything in between. If I had my own government education would be my highest priority. Not this war. P.S to other people who answered this. the middle class society is the most important class to a government. A government that has equal balance of rich and poor is an essential. As well as an shall I say "philosopher-king" as plato would have liked. In toher words and educated leader who's priority is for the good of the people not for the good of the rich.

alfkowitz - really any form of government is communist. If you think about.

Since when do Libertarians side with Bush? I sure don't, especially not since he used 9/11/01 as an excuse to put a whole group of "security measures" in place that are violations of our liberty.

Libertarians are often proto-anarchists. That is, many of us believe that eventually, humans may evolve to the point where they govern themselves individually in such a way that government will no longer be needed. That's not the same as having no rules, of course; that means settling differences in a civilized way, without the need to involve a government agency.

Why unity against capitalists? They make the world go around, my dear! If there was no money invested (which is what capital means), no business would be transacted and you couldn't have your ipod and your other toys, not to mention your basic necessities. You think, with the population we currently have, that we could go back to an agrarian, self-sufficient culture which deals in only close and personal barter trade? Forget it. Most of us would not be interested in giving up our current comforts and amusements to return to the medieval world!

Our society pays individuals based on what it considers to be the value contributed, white our tax structure takes back from those that have contributed. Rarely does a person get to be like the Bill Gate's of the world where they see that by CHOICE they should give much of what has been given to them back to society.

The entitled will never be appreciative of what they are given, because they have been taught they are "entitled". Few of they wealth get to experience the joy of giving, because it is extorted from them.

umm dude, capitalism is the single BEST form of economy to have. libertarians like the fact that bush taxed people fairly all paying closs to the same instead of the rich pay the poors burdin

these two couldnt be farther appart, what you (I assume an anarchist want) is socialism, the government to be your daddy, libs want as little government as possible.

No true libertarian could support Bush. A Bush supporter who thinks they are libertarian is misinformed.

The government under the Bush Administration and Republican Congress is larger than ever, spending more money than ever.

Oh yeah, that $300 check was great! Too bad most of the cuts went to the top 1%.

Grrr... The foul stench of Communism. Check your calender, the Commie flag got urinated on by Free Country USA back in 1989. That was a good year. It is quaint that you are trying to single-handedly start a revolution. I bet you grow up to be a professor.

As a Libertarian I can say we don't approve of taxes like Bush does them. They're ridiculous and he's just making B-I-G Government even BIGGER! I think you've been listening to the wrong people. Taxes, libertarians? I don't think so.

You better check your history, the democrats tax tax tax and then give it away to lowlifes who are too lazy to work. In case you forgot
Bush has lowered taxs three times since he has been in office.
Did you forget that refund check you got already.

Or are you a democrat that doesn't work and you didn't get one.
