Sales per square foot for each department.
Sales per "counter space" for particular items, within a department.
Sales per square foot in total store area.

Certainly sales per employee who are involved in direct sales.

Response from advertising is another. One is often asked what brought them to the store.
Notable examples are in grocery stores.
Competitive products virtually bid for space.
They do this by price promotions for one.
At times you will see a brand of beer or colas dominate given space, and at another time it will change.
Same with chips and various snacks.
Just a few items.
You find this often at the entrance.
