If you'd like to make an informed decision about whether or not you should go even if you can somehow get the money, you may want to first read this from the Iowa Attorney General's Office who investigated People to People:

"People to People Student Ambassador" Program Agrees to Modify Representations About How Students are "Selected" for International Travel

Iowa mother whose child died at age 7 weeks in 1993 received letter saying her son had been "recommended for the honor" of a 20-day trip to Europe (with a price tag of about $5,000.)

Unfortunately, they do not. However, you could offer to give talks to civic groups in your community in exchange for sponsoring you partially. Find out what all of your expenses will be, and then see how many groups you need support from. Also, check with your church, school, anything you can think of; do fundraising. It is a wonderful opportunity and will change your life for the better. Good luck.

I don't think they do. I had a student last year who qualified, and her expenses were paid for by our PTA, our teachers, and our District foundation. I suggest you take your application to your school district and see if they have a program that would support students doing a program like this. It is a VERY good program. otherwise, you can do fundraising for it.
