Yes people who feel they need to be recognized,
People who feel they have little or no worth.
People who have excessive/compulsive behaviors.
People who can't find happiness through normal means.
And most important of all, people who need help with there alcoholism!
All of the above describe the traits of an alcoholic. They all have some of theses characteristics before they become alcoholics & they most certainly develope the rest of them after they become alcoholics. But alot of theses people that go to AA meetings, you would never know they were alcoholics just by walking past them on the street or in a mall. It's not just the "no goods" that become alcoholics. Remember that.

All types of people from all walks of life respond well to the program, it is THE most successful program available. The key to it's success is the sense of family, support and the speaking as part of a group. Not sure if any research has been done on this population comparing personality traits to rate of success, if you're checking opinions: The normally introverted seem to thrive in this type of environment
