do u think low self esteem has alot to do with how u acutally look, or what ppl think about u? ppl nowadays only look on the outside... so it rele makes it hard to live up to everyone's standards, dont u think? especially when girls are surrounded with images of perfect people and have to feel like they're perfect too....

self-esteem is all about image and the outside.
in todays world, no one cares about who u are inside anymore. no one cares about your heart or personality.
sad, no? but very very true.
so, in the end lets judge as many people as we can as they judge us.

I think low self-esteem usually starts somewhere, like how a person is treated, but even if life takes a turn for the better, if a person's self-image is damaged enough, they may always see or hear the worst in/from other people.

certainly what you've written here makes a lot of sense. still, i think it's pretty important to remind everyone ... not just girls ... with potential low self esteem issues that the images surrounding us are too often spun, air brushed, staged, and remixed to convey something that just isn't real. the standard being set is oftentimes one that can't even be realized by those perpetuating it unless they've got a boatload of help. better to cultivate traits that truly improve us and allow us to best assess what is of real value.

i could care less what ppl think of me...although i can live up to everyones standards....nobodies perfect and everyones different..and ya alot of teasing really drops that self esteem

I think everyone has something they dont lik about themselves but its only because we compare ourselves to celeberties. Alot of it is because we only get to see when they r at their highest highs or their lowest lows. Alot of ppl have self esteem about having perfect abs or a tight butt or super skinny legs but i dont care what ppl think...... of me.

I think low self esteem has too much to do with body image, thanks to today's advertising and "Hollywood" types. You should base your self esteem on your self-image, the person you are inside, not on how you look.

A lot of people feel that way if u do i sugest a make over not BLOD just make ur self feel good get ur nails done feel like a woman
